The Elephant Footprints Foundation

 

The Elephant Footprints Foundation was founded by Nicola Schwim, chief trustee (South Africa) and inspired by Michael Bader , primary sponsor (Switzerland) in 2016. The foundation heads two trusts which, with financial support from Switzerland, aims to uplift People and Natural Environment in South Africa

THE MICHAEL BADER TRUSt

Established in 2010, The MBT focuses on food security, poverty relief and community upliftment in the Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth region. It currently supports three projects, namely Elukholweni Tunnel Project, the Missionvale Care Centre and the Walmer Hope Initiative.

Established in August 2016, the CZMT focuses on environmental education to passionate individuals who in their drive to promote environment in South Africa, contribute to its conservation, preservation and promotion.

Elephant Footprints Book

Nicola Schwim and Michael Bader produced the book Elephant Footprints (2nd Edition) – A Game Ranger’s Photographic Journal of the Gorah Elephant Camp in the Addo Elephant National Park – a limited edition of 1000 copies.
